C.S. Kraszewski

Poet
Charles S. Kraszewski is a poet and translator of poetry and plays from the Polish and the Czech. He has published three volumes of original poetry to date: Beast (Alexandria, VA, 2012), Diet of Nails (Boston, 2013) and Chanameed (Atlanta, 2013).  His work has appeared in various literary journals, such as the California Quarterly, Chapparal, The New Yorker, and Exterminating Angel Press, the Magazine, in which most of the poems he will read today first appeared. His original poetry in Polish, as well as translations from English and American poets such as T. S. Eliot and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, have appeared in Polish-language journals in the U.K. and Poland, such as Odra. He is a member of the Union of Polish Writers Abroad, London.
